It's a cool song, and I was browsing through the Sega Public Media FTP's archives, and I found this. It's a slightly rougher and noisier version of the theme.No big find, but something for your ears.

Could just be the rough/unmastered mix of the track, you sometimes get record labels releasing rough mixes of tracks before they're processed for release.
