I'm trying to figure out how to rip DOA4's music... I was hoping it was just going to be ADX files in an AFS archive but no such luck. =(I'm sure they're all in an archive, <strike>possibly</strike> probably in "bgm_stream.xwb"What the hell is XWB? There were some games that used that format but it doesn't appear to be the same... The header begins with:DNBW.......0...`..............................8........Vbgm_streamAny idea?Same for Nicole's voice (Spartan-458)DNBW.......0...`.......p................................voice_spa_streamAlso, there are two ADX files embedded into the SFD movies (which are still encrypted or whatever btw), one being our regular old stereo track and what I believe the other to be a 5.1 track. Nothing can play the larger of the two as far as I know.

I probably shouldn't have posted it on DOAC... Since Team Ninja reads there occasionally...Anyway, disc structure:Posted Image

Yeah, I was thinking of asking there... Maybe I'll copy and paste these few posts. =PAnd if anything, the sound effects and voices would be mono... in any format. But the SFD movies have two audio tracks, one being much larger and related to ADX somehow... It also includes the ©cri that all ADX files do, so I'm assuming it's a newer 5.1 ADX. Here:Kasumi's ending: 3.84MB Stereo and 11.6MB Possibly 5.1?But right now I'm just wanting to get the actual in-game BGMs out. I could care less about the endings.Pickle, shut up you fucking moron.

I don't think I did anything that unreasonable. But I always seem to piss people off anyway.

Anyone can convert SFD files.[/quote]Not model 2 SFDs. BSF is the only person I've EVER seen to be able to decode them properly. And even then it takes him some time.I believe they use an encryption similar to DVDs where a key is needed to have the video decrypted properly...

I never heard of 5.1 adx files nor sfds with multiple audio tracks. CRI must've upgraded their middleware portfolio, so you either need a stolen x360 devkit or wait for someone to reverse engineer the format.
I've seen multiple audio tracks in my previous file browsing, but never 5.1. Actually, I'm not positive that this is 5.1, I'm just speculating based on what I'm seeing.

In addition to two audio tracks, an mpeg1 track, there are two seperate data tracks... My demultiplexor states that they are buffers but I'm wondering if these contain those keys.

We have several people missing costumes in DOA4 (Lei Fang is missing 6) but in addition to that, we have a huge gap in the files that looks like it was intended for DOA4 to have one more female fighter. That or two more guys... There are seven blanks in a row for outfits, meaning either one girl with seven outfits or two guys; one having three and the other having four. This is the only evidence I have:http://grap3.heypoor.../chrtwo.afs.txthttp://grap3.heypoor...hrthree.afs.txtfilename = person (missing/total)chrtwo.afsgen = Gen Fu (1/5)hel = Helena (1/7)leo = Leon (0/4)bas = Bass (0/4)hak = ??? (3/13)this huge gap is the missing characterhyt = Hayate (1/5)lei = Lei Fang (6/13)aya = Ayane (0/6)chrthree.afsboy = Eliot (1/5)lis = Lisa (0/5)alp = Alpha (1/2)* Alpha is a special case. She has two outfits, both completely identical, even in filename.tng = Tengu (1/3)spa = Spartan (1/8)bra = Brad Wong (1/4)cri = Christie (2/7)kor = Kokoro (1/10)* She has an unused one left over.rtm = ??? (0/5)bay = Bayman (03)From here on out it seems to be the alternate versions of the outfits (i.e. masks, hair, etc)kas = Kasumi (0/4)lei = Lei Fang (0/13)aya = Ayane (0/1)lis = Lisa (0/6)cri = Christie (0/1)kor = Kokoro (0/2)ein = Ein (0/1)jan = Jann Lee (0/1)boy = Eliot (0/1)hak = ??? (0/7)hel = Helena (0/5)I know several characters are unaccounted for and I'm still looking for them.

They may be outfits that are unknown how to be opened, or download/demodisc content

Well, considering that I have the "Got every costume" achievement I think the latter is more likely.Or they just forgot to take it out like they did with Bass's cowboy outfit in DOA3.

Here's the file list from the archive containing all the stages.... with 18 missing spots... With two files per level, a "bin" (probably actual model, layout, etc) and a "tpr" (probably every single texture for that area), that makes 9 missing levels.http://grap3.heypoor...oa4/stg.afs.txt

Only in the lurking and downloading sense, as I never had a modded Xbox, and I still haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. But I have a harddrive full of models, movies and programs related to it. It was the best, full of very talented people. No idea where they moved on to.

You do? Do you use AIM or MSN? Do you still have the modified characters on your HDD?

I do indeed still have a lot of DOA Xbox related material on one of my hard drives, but it's not accessable at this time :( I just moved, so it's packed up and sitting in my sister's spare room. I'm posting from a work computer, so there's not much of a chance of me being able to bring it along. Really not sure how I could share the files at this point, actually :/
