What happened that E3:
- Sega Saturn surprise launch announced "Saturn is here, now, and you can buy one today for $399!", which set Sega off on the Road to Disaster.
- Epic Sony Playstation announcement that stole Sega's lunch and consisted solely of "$299", which, when contrasted with "$599" should show you why Sony fell so hard this gen.
- N64/Ultra 64 teasing galore, but nothing really concrete there.
- Atari pimping the Jaguar CD, which, when placed on top of the Jag looked like a toilet. Ah...symbolism.
- The 3DO Company's Trip Hawkins pulling the best P.T. Barnum impression in the business while pimping 3DO M2, which wasn't vaporware but was never released in the form intended.
