It's Classic Sonic in 3D. Have the community gone batshit crazy over it? Yes they have. Have I? No.
Here's a reality check, where did Sonic, in Sonic Adventure, get modeled from? "Classic". And now Sega have abused this 3D era so much, it warrants them giving an attempt at restarting where they fucked up from with this Sonic Generations game.
Without wafting on and on and on here's some quick bullet points.
It's 30 seconds of CGI. Surprise surprise. This shit bores me.
Classic Sonic, in my eyes, does not warrant the god damn OMG factor from the community.
The community seems to of got all their goodies and happiness briefly replenished from Sonic Colours and INSTANTLY thrown it all on the betting tables that this game "WILL BE THE ONE".
Sonic died with the Dreamcast.

Also oblig:
I realise there's a lot they have to do beyond showing a flashy CG teaser trailer to drum up attention (which I think everyone has to admit Sega is very good at), and mentioning Sonic in a positive light is unheard of now at CulT, but with the Colours engine, that could potentially be refined even further, this game has a decent chance of being good - and once again the board shows that despite supposedly moving away from the franchise, once AGAIN the most activity CulT has had in weeks is over Sonic. =P

Just goes to show that the blue hedgehog is like drugs, We need him even though we want nothing to do with him.
Overlord is right the cycle broke the metacritic scores were more postitive for colors then they were for unleashed. (Yes, i use metacritic, sue me.)
