Diabolical (Pandora's) Box is the best one in English so far. Unwound (Lost) Future is the more stylish of the bunch, but also the easiest and Curious Village is the most rough but has some damn good puzzles as well.
If you want to go chronological, then do CV first. If you want to sample the best of the series, go DB.
