Bricks were shat

I like the idea of no cover system, no regenerative health, old school flavour... but I doubt it can't live to the unbreable levels of hype after ALL this time

I have never not bet on the Duke.

I mean, Chinese Democracy came out. It was only a matter of time.

Are you really sure it's coming out? Really sure? Double check? We can wait another decade.

Seems valid, but if Duke Nukem Forever ends up being another Daikatana, I'll freak.

<Geenz> watch the curse of DNF living on with gearbox
<Geenz> we'll end up coming around to fall 2011, and gearbox will announce that it's postponing it's release
<Geenz> and that it's changing engines becuase 3D Realms' engine was too dated
<Geenz> then they'll switch to Unreal Engine 3.5
<Geenz> then they'll switch to CryENGINE
<Miz> DNF = Did Not Finish.
<Miz> It should be switched to a casual social game.
<Geenz> then they'll switch to their own engine
<Geenz> then they'll switch back to Unreal Engine
<Geenz> all over the course of another 10 years
<Geenz> then gearbox will go out of business
<Geenz> and Activision Take-Two will demand that gearbox and 2k hand over the code
<Geenz> so that it can be completed by Rockstar Games
<Miz> lulz
<Geenz> another 10 years later, rinse and repeat, change Activision Take-Two with EA Activision, and Rockstar Games with Crytek

The tradition must be preserved.

I'd like to say "I don't care anymore" but I do, I really do.
I remember picking up the gaming publication that, at the time, was my favourite and seeing Duke Nukem Forever among the 'incoming' games. That was ten or so years ago, now.
Now we're finally going to get it, I can't help but get a little excited all over again.
