Read the Full Story on AssemblerGames

Apparently, he was offered a disc with two canned levels that crash, no music, only SFX. Hopefully we'll get that disc dumped soon!

He'll eventually release it as he did with the X-Treme thing.

Did I hit my head and miss something here? I don't remember ASS giving anything of his X-treme disc to anyone. Just a GIF image. Most X-treme assets we have now are from Chris Senn who actually worked on X-treme.

Wouldn't get your hopes up of a release on this at all, really. April 1 should be fun, though.

Yeah, this is close enough to International Can't Trust A Thing You Hear Day that I'm willing to call this bullshit until some concrete evidence surfaces. Screenshots aren't good enough, a video would be better, but still not enough.

We don't have one dumped. We have some levels from the game which were provided by Chris Senn (I think...?) and a shitload of artwork, textures and music also provided by Chris Senn. The one in which we have that GIF image of has never been dumped, at least not to my knowledge and I sure can't find it anywhere.

Could be wrong though. Anyone?

I think some editor for the PC version was leaked as well or something.

No, AssemblerGames is the one that is like "Dude, I wish this was dumped, maybe one of you can buy it from me and dump it" "... why don't you just dump it" "meh...".

I'm posting in this thread to show that I am aware of the secret prototype they don't want us talking about on Retro. I'm cool sweet and catchy and edgy now.

Also ASSembler and HOLY FUCK R2 AND FINAL FEVER.

This two scrapped level thing was in my theory of R2 I posted on retro. For me, Tidal Tempest used strictly Labyrinth Zone remixed art, and R2 used strictly Marble Zone remixed art. For some unknown reason, they decided to scrap the Marble Zone remix and put some of it's art in Tidal Tempest, so we have 2 different Zones that made Tidal Tempest, but the original R2 AND R4 (TTz slot) are unknown. I think that makes sense, what you think?

I hate to resort to theories, but if you're correct, it could mean a very different Tidal Tempest in this build. That could be interesting.

This is that theory topic. (The two first images were from the intro video showing the lab).

Why doesnt retro want it discussed? Trying to avoid a shitstorm?

They're held up right now by 500 pages of Sonic 4 bitching, why would they need another 500 pages of wasted server space dedicated to "OH NOES FAYK PROTORS BAWLRAWRDERP" in times like this?
