hello,
I got a new version of Re 4.This version is not the same as the retail game,because it has an open debug menu and is playable till level 1-3.
The menue from the merchant is different,too.If i remember right,its a version from capcom for the press (gamemagazines).
Its not a hacked version,like the re 4 demo from THIA.

Holy sweet jesus that is cool. Any chance of getting these videos/pics put directly up to X-Egg, Kendo? It'll preserve quality better than YouTube.

Also, any chance of a rip of the disc? It may be difficult depending on your Gamecube setup though.

I cant ripp this disc,because my pc cant read GC-Media.
I can make some more files and videos,but the qulity wont be very good,because i have to make the pics/videos from my TV with my cam

just make a plain iso, no pc can read a gcn disc. I've done it half a dozen times with my pc.

Actually, I can do that. I'm the lucky owner of a LG drive capable of dumping full gamecube and wii isos.

I am interested on this beta being released. Hey Robert, why don't you send the beta to me? I'll rip it for everyone. And I'll return the disc, of course :P

If Kendo has a GC Broadband adaptor and Phantasy Star Online, he can do it himself. Very slowly.

You're being too paranoid. I was even thinking of sending the drive to you.

Besides, you know this community has already dumped a shitload of prototypes.


In the end, if you decide to dump it by yourself, your best bet is finding an LG GDR 8161b dvd drive. With that and a tool called rawdump you will be able to rip the disc.

That is the one I have, but it seems that LG GDR8161B, LG GDR8162B, LG GDR8163B, LG GDR8164B are also compatible.

I have a junky pioneer drive and it dumped half a dozen gamecube discs. Then run them through a gcn ripper and search.

after my comparison between the normal trial with debug and this version i found some options in the debug menu,which are different.not really interesting,but some functions in the beta are enabled,and the same functions in the trial are disabled

Maybe you can try to make a community release. I'm pretty sure that the people can donate easily for this one and cover it quickly.

Is a good price for release this proto... I think (cheaper even).
