So if you didn't know, back in the day Brazil had some weird ass Mega Man comic. It's most notorious for the fact that Roll gets naked ALL THE FUCKING TIME in the thing. The art is constantly changing. It's in BR so hell if I can read it. Also it just kind of ends at issue 16 after some dude pulls a chick's heart out of her chest.

Anyway here is the 16 issues (raw) rar'd up in two batches on mediafire. They are CBRs inside that.

I think I might be able to get translations for it, didn't want to post to avoid the "lol, letdown" feeling in case I didn't deliver, but holy lol is this awesome.

OK, franz's pal hooked us up with his translations for the first 10 pages. I reworded a few lines here and there for clarity / bubble space concerns, probably not the most professional editing job ever but hey it's free. I'm not 100% sure I got the context right on some bubbles (mostly the "just like a human" bit) but this is probably more or less what's going on.

Oh, I'm not doing much. Asking a friend and being a proofreader of sorts, as I know *some* Portuguese. But yea, my friend and Cryo are doing p.much all the work.

And from the second page of the first issue, the editor's note is basically a rant going "fuck canon this is my comic book", so I doubt it will go into the MMX storyline (whatever that is!)

Finally, apparently he's finishing the last pages of the first issue right now. Who knows, depending on his schedule we might be able to finish it. Just 16 issues of 30 pages each, doesn't seem hard.

I think this one came out a bit nicer overall, we started doing translation notes on some pages because we pretty much had to, there is one part that we stillhave no fucking idea what is going on. Oh, and this is the one where the writer uses a new character to go on a multipage rant about the mistreatment of Brazilian comic book makers. It's crazy, you should read it.

Sure, there are a few things you could do.

Firstly, we're using #pokeymanz on IRC (server is irc.sonic-cult.net or irc.cultnet.net or irc.drx.pl) for our real-time discussion, so if you IRC at all it would be helpful if you could hang out there. When I am actually putting words into bubbles we review/edit the translations as we go for clarity / bubble space. So obviously having you around then would be helpful.

Otherwise, feel free to review the issues we have done so far, or pick out an issue to translate that we haven't done yet. We've done 1 and 2, franz is gonna do 3 next, so if you wanna do like issue 4 or 5 go right ahead. Note that this comic seems to not be the most well-written thing ever in it's original form either, so some of the jokes are pretty bad and thus may sound stupid but are probably correct. Also issue 4 is all zomg drama involving kidnapped children and stuff so if you don't wanna do that go ahead and skip to 5.

But yes, we'd be glad to have extra help so we can get this done quicker/better.

edit: oh yeah, so far i have not bothered to do any sort of credits page or anything yet either so if that's a problem let me know. i'll probably just do one page that covers all issues when we are done or something and put that into the final versions of the issues.

That's perfectly fine. There are only 16 issues anyway, so with two translators working on it things should go quickly enough I hope.

If we could do two a week we'd be done in two months, etc.
