Last night I got my xbox back, (It was on the fritz, and I had to replace the hard drive) and I downloaded a torrent of Xbox love DLC, which included the DLC for Toejam and Earl III. So here's a video of the downloadable characters. Two of them are just copies of Toejam and Earl, but the last one is an all new character.

Also, there are 2 levels I added, but I haven't gotten footage yet. But I will!

Suteki
This robotic character resembles Latisha in size, but runs faster, jumps farther, takes less damage and has eight times better luck with Risky Presents.

Earl Bot
The chrome-plated version of Earl may look and sound familiar, but his Funk Fu and Funkify Shots do double damage, and he can run as fast as ToeJam.

Nerdy ToeJam
Nerdy ToeJam is a bit slower than his cousin ToeJam, but he can jump higher and longer, has better luck with gambling, and is easily forgiven for Rhythm Matching mistakes.

Funkadelic Level
If you find yourself wandering around a world filled with polka-dot skies, a psychedelic ground and strange alien plants and objects, you're either in need of some counseling or walking around the new Funkadelic Level in ToeJam and Earl 3. Here, you'll find some of the toughest Earthlings in the game, but also the most valuable presents hiding both on the ground and in the air.

Hades Maze Level
For those that like it hot, make sure to take a trip through the new Hades Maze Level. As one might expect, this level is full of fire, Medusa babies, little devils and all sorts of places you'd rather not fall into. You'll want to keep your eyes peeled for some great presents scattered around this world, including Extra Lives, Duplicate, Triple Time Wings, Show Map and more! Don't be surprised if you find a present hiding in the depths of a fiery hole. Go ahead and jump in! Remember to take advantage of strafing against the Medusa babies, or you might just get toasted.

Dunno why I just had these lying around. Think it all originally came from the official Xbox site.

Jesus stoko, you rule for these. How is it you can give so much and give me a boner on top of it? I'll add these asap. ;)

I am curious if there is some sort of connection between Suteki and the game Sudeki. Wiki claims the game was originally called Suteki, and that it's a Japanese phrase, I don't know if that's all true though. I do notice however that Suteki in TJ&E III has blue eyes and a purple gem thing, whereas Ailish from Sudeki (who is featured centered on every cover, most people probably assume she is named Sudeki ala Metroid/Zelda/etc) has purple eyes and a blue gem on her chest. Both games were directly involved with MS in some way, they were both pretty much "mascot bait" for the original xbox. Far as I can tell, Sudeki was announced in September 2002, TJ&E III came out in October 2002. However, these are download characters, so they would have come out at a later date, not really sure when. Info I googled seems to indicate that the content was up right at the start of Xbox Live in November 2002.

So this means that an important-to-microsoft game was ready to come out right about the same time as another important-to-microsoft title was being announced. TJ&E III was being tied into the launch of xbox live, maybe they at some point thought they would somehow tie the two games together, who knows. Maybe it's all nothing. But it seems likely to me just on the name alone, the eye/gem colors being the same helps too. Sorry if i'm going all poorly-researched conspiracy here.
