Okay so like I go for a walk every 4 or 5 hours or so on my days off, and here I am walking down the road, and what do I see?!?
Posted Image
[marquee]A butt load of fuckin imac os9’s on the street, so I got up the gumption and asked the owner why they were throwing them out, this guy tells me, it was because there unsupported and he can’t upgrade them, well being the hardware nut I am I smoked a bowl and then started to manually update the Os, and did it very well, how ever I’m limited on space, and I want to know how to ripped these pieces of shit open, well I’m not the fastest in the group or the sharpest spoon in the knife box, but I can do what I can do, I just don’t want to risk damaging the lovely casing, I turned two of the broken ones into a fish bowl, and a TV for the outside, but I still have not figured out how to safely open it with out breaking the screw points.

Does anyone know how to open this prehistoric appleCrappers, I was considering the a M80 and my lighter. >_< Suggestions, input, help? Discuss. =D

Your number one concern should be "will I electrocute" myself.

Well IUC I have actually crossed that road today, I actual got shocked good enough, that some hair on my head was smoking >_<
Not a joke I had to use a pound of conditioner an hour ago after cutting the singed ends T_T
Word to the wise, Kiddies if you going to do work with hard ware, make sure your warring rubber gloves,
and that your wearing a grounding bracelet for extra measure, it also helps to *Ehem* "unplug" what EVER you working on

NO, NO NO. Unless you want a Darwin Award you do NOT ground yourself when working on monitors. Did you notice how you almost got electrocuted? Grounding yourself is only going to make that easier. You're making an easier path for the electricity to go through you. You're about to kill yourself because you don't realize that CRT monitors hold deadly charges even years after they're unplugged. Put down the bong and read about how to safely discharge them (even though you shouldn't be doing this yourself).

O_O Really got any documentation on that?

you know my friend told me there was a way to swap out the leads, so you can use a flat lcd rather then the tube.
I still need to know how to open them so I can change the harddrive, oh my friend also said that the shielding
is on the tubes so that's not a big deal, however I did shocked my self on the one broken one,
then tossed it in the dumpster, it was like *KABOOSH*

Wrong documentation, I meant the monitors holding a charge.
But that's something to watch too.
