I'm in the process of eating up someone's bandwith collecting little pieces of history from the era predating most emulators.

for some reason it won't let the text display correctly. I edited like 4 different ways. But like everything Cult, it doesn't work.

Sonic Crack for 32x? What are the chances it isn't just Sonic Crackers, and they listed it as a 32x beta because it was obvious it was what Knuckle's Chaotix became.

Well, I hope it's low :P

I was under the impression that you guys actually found the rom from the release. I guess not?

Either way I think someone actually found out how to hack back in the intro from the group that released it, didn't they?

Ya, I know the release we have is the same. But the intro is hacked to not show when you start it, which is why I'm saying I remember reading somewhere that someone hacked it so it displays again.

Some emulators occasionally play the intro for some reason though. If I'm right, there are two different SEGA intros in the ROM.

If by "the intro" you mean the SEGA logo screen, it comes straight from Shinobi III. I wouldn't be surprised if that was hacked in, instead of the other way around.

I believe he's reffering to the 'cracktro' the intro added by the release group. Though I don't remember crackers ever having one, possibly the spinball beta did...

If he really ment the sega logo, I thought it always displayed..?

Sorry DH I never posted when I uploaded them. Here's all 1,200+ of them!

http://x-cult.org/nfos/

Some of them caught my eye because there's half a dozen prototypes in there that I haven't seen on the internet.
