So, let's try this again.

A while back, I was asked to begin work on the X-CulT intro for the site's videos and such. I've been working on it on and off over the months between jobs. Here's an idea of what it looks like:

Just last night I received what was to be the intro music to this animation, and realized that the intro animation needs to be extended. So, one idea I had was to show a few different video clips of the different prototypes that have been researched and such on the site while the X-CulT logo animates in the background for a "long" version of the intro, while a short version would simply have a shorter version of the logo animation with a cropped version of the intro music that we can use for the vast majority of the videos for the site.

tl;dr, start posting source videos of proto footage. Doesn't matter what game or system it's for, so long as it's A) in a source format such as mp4, avi, and the like, and B) of a game in its prototype phases.

I see that logo floating in space, and I'm reminded of the music from the SegaCD intro.

GENTLEMEN

I give you... A VIDEO
http://www.youtube.c...h?v=J7cufChYh-Q

And thus the X-CulT intro video was born. Mind you, this is still what I consider early work.

Needs more HBO-like model city getting destroyed by things and the X-cult logo flies in with a giant explosion. That, or a song change.

That made me think of this, http://www.youtube.c...h?v=hIkYKWChuQA. Too bad we can't have that style of intro instead.

Well, if anyone's willing to foot the bill, I'd gladly make one like that.

I have ideas, such as the bus going by, and there's orange and yellow flashes, with an explosion sound signifying its crash, the church being changed to a McDonalds being lit on fire by an angry mob, The HBO theatre in the backdrop during one point being changed to an XXX theatre, and so on.

Oh yes it is, like the pink ooze in Ghostbusters 2 flowing unknowing under Newyork, just awaiting to arise again when the evil/pro-Sonic energy reaches critical mass again.

And then BAM! A Sonic subforum opens to deal with all the shitty topics so they dont pester anyone else, but slowly it takes over, the ratio of Sonic topics become too much to contain, and it becomes a Sonic-cult once more

Inescapable

I'll just delete all the Sonic topics if that becomes the case. We're not going to go back to a Sonic site.
