Many of you have probably already seen this from both SSRG and Sonic Retro, but for those of you who haven't...

Sonic 1: WTF LAME is a collaborative hack by me (Sonic 65) and GerbilSoft. Though there are a few other new features involved, the main focus of the hack is around a new monitor; the Wetflame Monitor.

When you hit this monitor, prepare for shenanigans and randomly selected tl;dr posts from Wetflame himself! (There are over 30 different ones implemented!)

Download:
ROM Link
Source (because GerbilSoft likes open-sourcing things)

Knowing Gerbil I bet this will somehow end in a rickroll.

I thought I was going to enter this topic and have to bitch about you showcasing another shitty Sonic hack.

But instead, I have found pure win.

Kudos.

Actually, it doesn't.

I know, I was shocked too =P However, it does mention The Game - which as a result of reading this, I guess you've just lost.

Fun fact; Gerbil actually wanted to add a rickroll into the credits, and told me to use my PCM driver to put it in, but I forgot. =P

The credits, however, do pack another nice little surprise!

Haha. That's an awesome alternative to trolling similar to the likes of SSUK's SONIC HEROES MODEL RIPPER.exe which gave me a couple laughs too.

I did cheat to do the last level and see what was in the credits. Maaan i'd be pissed if by chance that I had decided to fully complete the game without hitting a monitor, and then getting it automatically hit in the credits. :P

Good job though.

No, GS360.exe is the best thing ever. Best, and most accurate 360 emu out there, Gerb just forgot to remove a certain dvd from the system when he programmed it.

Wait; I've heard of the "model ripper", but I have no clue what it'd do if you ran it.
What exactly happened?

Oh it ran a simple GUI with the Heroes logo, Sonic; Tails; Knuckles, y'know, Team sonic on it. And then it had two buttons "Exit" And "RIP MODELS NOW!!!". When you clicked the Model's button, iirc, a few prompts appeared saying "When you have you models, you must promise never to beg again for models from Sonic Heroes" and then another and some more of the like with "And I also promise to lurk before posting more, or signing up / remaining guest forever".

Anywho, once the prompts were "Ok"'d, Big full screen, CTRL+ALT+DEL blocked, flashing lights saying "STOP POSTING ON CULT AND BEGGING FOR MODELS YOU FAGGOT". Same prompts as before appeared when trying to click the "Exit button" but to no avail. The only way to get out of it is by waiting it out iirc.

EDIT: Delicious added details. Credit to SSUK's post.

That thread looked incredibly lulzy; I'm surprised I never saw it...
Anyways, the Program's not malicious, right? I kinda wanna run it just for shits and giggles.

EDIT: Never mind. I read more into the thread.

It's actually far cooler than Hinara makes it out, and no, it's not malicious. I'm not a total fuck.

I just ran it. AND IT WAS AWESOME AND GOOD. And gave me a seizure.

But on the plus side, I think all the flashing colors fixed my monitor's dead pixel! :D
