Some of you may be able to remember far enough back when we hacked the SegaNET roms off gamehompo. Well, we managed to capture some of the Phantasy Star text adventures. Unfortunately, they only release 4 out of 8 ROMs. Well, I recently downloaded Phantasy Star Collection for PS2 and it has all 8. I dug through the files and found a file that seems to contain the data, and of course, it's in ROM format. I had a peek at the file with Hex Workshop, only ROMs I see are Phantasy Star 4 for Genesis and again for Megadrive. I could just be missing the others, but I searched for some of the data from one of the four that are dumped, and it didn't find anything.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. I'm thinking perhaps the others are somehow encrypted

Actually, gamehompo released 7 out of 8. Nei's Adventure was the only one not released before they closed up shop. However you being in jail prevented the release of the other 3. I mentioned it on the forums once or twice and nobody seemed to care. I believe Ryoga helped you setup the account? Don't know if he or anybody else downloaded them or any others and just did not release them. Instead of trying to extract or decrypt the files directly, I did the smart thing. I loaded the ISO in PCSX2 started up each game then extracted them from memory.Anne's, Huey's, Kinds's and Shilka's were released previosly by extracting them from gamehompo. The checksum and CRC32 of those 4 ROMs match the checksum and crc32 of the versions released from gamehompo, so all 8 are presumed good.

No problem, it didn't take very long to get these extracted from memory. And I've been wanting these released myself, but had no idea they were in PS Complete Collection till you posted this topic.
