Long story short I moved across the country and my new bank won't activate my account and give me my new debit card in time for me to pay the cultnet bill. Donations would be appreciated.

Isn't Sonic Retro hosted on CultNet too? I can't remember if it still was or not, I was pretty sure it was at least at one point in time.They should be notified of this too, we'll probably see more donations from them because they're more active.

Hinchy's posted it at Retro, both in the Oldbies Lounge and as a reply to the "DONATE" topic in the Announcements subforum.I sent $10 myself. It's not much, but I can't afford to give much more right now as I'm moving to a new apartment next month.

Call me ignorant, or greedy (as I can't donate due to financial problems (And yes; I know we don't want this topic full of bullshit replies like that)); but back to my point, Wouldn't the bank refusing you access to the card just mean that the bill is temporarily not paid, and thus the down time would simply be until the card is transfered ect.?

Pretty much, but you know how some people are. BAWWW CULT IS DOWN IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD.I'm one of those people. =(I'll donate if I can, but I highly doubt I can. My aunt doesn't expect me to eat, what with the rent I have to pay and the money my grandmother lends me for food, which she CAN'T this month. So I'm pretty broke, and not going to eat most likely. But I'll see what I can do.

not to mention there'll probably be some late fee bullshit and the site might not even come up that fast. or they could be real douches like some hosting companies and terminate your hosting if you miss a payment. to be on the safe side, I'll be donating some money asap.
