Have any of you attempted this? I want to try editing SA2, like maybe figuring out layout format, and I can't really test anything without editing the iso. You can't edit a selfboot ISO, and all my attempts at making a non-selfboot iso has failed.

If I recall, SA2 has certain protections on it, which is most likely why you're running into problems. The protection had to be cracked specifically for making it selfbootable. I do not know if even a GDI rip would work in any emulator.

Well, nullDC supports .gdi. I'll test this with some other games. I have like 80 selfboot disks I could try with, So I know if it's the protection or not.

That's not what I meant. I meant even in the GDI format, the protection on the image will still remain there, making the game unplayable.
