Lately I've been trying to get a hold of some older computer games to pass the time with this summer. So far I've gotten-Thief-Thief 2-System Shock 2-Grim Fandango-Black and WhiteAre there any other games you guys would recommend trying to find? Preferably I'd like to find more adventure-style games like Grim Fandango or the King's Quest series.

how about doing something constructive instead? Play games cause you want to play them, not because you have free time you know? Anyway, Id go looking for everything D&D related, the temple of elemental evil, dragonshard, never winter nights, get some music from Midnight syndicate and some some rulebooks. its just a suggestion

Black & White is okay, I have a copy but never got into it but I can see why it would appeal to certain people.System Shock 2 is supposed to be brilliant.Psychonauts, too.

Hardly classic in terms of old though.L'see. Diablo 2, Quake 3 Arena, Return To Castle Wolfenstein, Quake 2, Morrowind. Deus Ex would be an obvious one, Warcraft 3 (it was alright), Starcraft, Half Life 1.All I gots to think of, the Doom's? I would HIGHLY recommend Return To Castle Wolfenstein though as well as its Enemy Territory multiplayer.

I loved Anno 1602 as a child. It's a construction(or what that genre is called) game though and not an adventure. But worth a shot, it really was great from what I remember.

So now I've also got Deus Ex, Half-Life 1, Roller Coaster Tycoon (plus expansions), Red alert II + Yuri's Revenge, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and Starcraft. Does anyone still play Starcraft online anymore? I mean besides bullshit custom ZOMG INFINITE MINERALS AND GAS FOR 10 MINUTES THEN ATTACK! maps. I remember I was starting to get decent with Protoss, but then my friends stopped playing that and went on to WoW instead.

All games made Bullfrog. The Dungeon Keepers, Theme Park, Theme Hospital. Such brilliance has yet to surface again in such a manner.

I've never actually gotten to playing Descent, but I hear it's pretty good.

Oh FUCK YESRe-installing....Also, I'd second the recommendation of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, ONLY if you haven't played Oblivion. I used to love Morrowind, but even as a TESfanfag, I could never go back to it now after playing Oblivion for so long.

If you can get your hands on a copy of Blood by monolith you would be doing yourself a great favour, and probably Shadow Warrior as well. If it's point and click then the obvious choices would be Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle and Broken Mirror. Definite classics that should not be overlooked.

It would have been on my list, except I found the Jaguar version far more superior and much more fun, even with the huge controller.I had forgot to list Sam and Max though. A lot f the SCUMM games were absolutely fantastic!

I'm sure it is and I'm sure I would agree with you if I had ever had access to a Jaguar. I don't think they ever made it to Australia, I've never seen one. I've always wondered, does the Jaguar version save your progress like the PC version, or do you have to rely on the trippy warp zones (RASTERFY!), to zip through the early levels every time you play.

Prime numbers are numbers whose only multiples are 1 and itself, if I remember math correctly. Ex: 6 is not a prime number, cause you can multiply 2 and 3 to get it. 7 is a prime because you can only get it by multiplying 1 and 7.
