so yeah i've been making these for awhile:Posted ImageI have 17000~ beads from a different brand than i sually use that i wanna get through. I'll be glad to make any smallish sprite within the colors i have of this other brand in exchange for money or games. The colors are black, white, red, blue, green (kinda dark), yellow/cheese, lavender (dunno why), orange, pink, and brown. I CAN mix them with my normal brand and produce more colors (ie the flesh in that white mage) but I dont' wanna do en masse if I can help it. If you got big shit you want or things that require more color we can talk about using my normal shit and whatnot too. I'd be willing to ship to other countries if you provide me with games from your area as I don't have many.8 bit or less works best because these things get fairly big pretty quick. Especially so in this case as I wanna keep the colors down. more examples, most of these are with my normal brand though:http://img76.imagesh...p10100363ew.jpghttp://img24.imagesh...p10100082ud.jpghttp://img24.imagesh...p10100131ij.jpghttp://kevlargibs.ne...er/P1010020.JPG

How many games are we talking for one of these based on Nack in his little hoverchair from Sonic Triple Trouble?

Nack has a spring-chair thingie, and the sprites are about 32x64, and unfortunetly have shading to them and thus are beyond the scope of the beads i wanna burn through.however, i COULD do it. may have to alter some of the grey shades though. pricing is very difficult, there's no hard and fast rules for it so just make an offer if you are serious.

Sure, provide the beads, cover shipping, pay me buy the hour, and have my woman blow me the whole time and make me a sandwich afterwords.

Make an offer. I was thinking I'd do the next clashman in the pink/orange color of his weapon, as he appears in megaman 3 though. Let's talk if you mean it.

My sister has these beads, and I'm not shelling out cash (and certainly not a game) for these. Sorry man =\

I'm not forcing you too. It's an OFFER, I just thought I'd offer the service to people who don't want to go start doing it themselves.

Those are fucking awesome! Nice work. I never thought about using bead chips for that before... Do you glue them to a base or stick them side by side?

The pegboard if that seethrough plastic thing right? How do they stay together when they aren't on that?Do you stick them in the microwave or something cause they look as though they are melted together slightly

Iron. They sell these things in craft stores, but mostly in small bead count and preshaped boards. You can find the beads and boards in single color and in bulk online or ebay. You place the beads on the pegboard to make pictures or shapes (or in this instance, sprites). There's a type of special paper you then place over the beads, and then you iron over the paper, slightly melting the beads to that they resolidify together into one solid shape.I've never thought about microwaving them though. Cryo, you want to give it a try/risk? I'm without a microwave.

If those beads are made of iron, the last thing you wanna do is put 'em in a microwave - any type of metal + microwave oven = BAD.

They're not made of iron, you're supposed to iron them :P

I really doubt the microwave would work, but it would be an interesting experiment for sure.
