I'd like to update this topic with some good and bad news.First, some good news:I've played around with The House of the Dead rom quite a lot lately, and I believe it originally had a multi-unit link for up to 8 players. I have found what I believe to be unused monsters and even playable characters.I have discovered around 20 or so more unused stuffs in Sonic the Fighters, all really quite cool...Now for the bad. I was planning to release all this info in November. Sadly, I believe my computer has gone for it's last crash. A motherboard issue, a cpu issue, or a hard drive issue, I'm not sure. It cannot bode well for my gigs of resarch. So, until then, anyone else interestedin looking through Dead or Alive for me?EDIT: Computer fixed, bad motherboard. An no, I've discovered nothing new in HoTD, after playing it for 20 some-odd hours and trying every combonation for the paths, I've seen everything I've found in the game.Also:I'm about to turn everything you though you knew about Sonic the Fighters and turn it upsidedown... (possible Sunset level content!)

Updated with a mockup of things I've discovered. All things seen here are actually ingame remnants, I just thoght I'd present it in an interesting way.Posted ImageList of items, going clockwise: "YES!", Cheeseburger, Bowling Pin, Apple, "L O V E" (that is a full object), Iced Cream Cone, Heart, "NO!". Also note, those are really Honey's hands holding the bomb and the gun proving one of two things:1. Honey's attack would alternate between all the different characters moves, Amy's PikoPiko, Nack's Gun, Bean's Bomb, ect..2. Honey would have had all these moves somehow, and executed them using different commands.EDIT: Oh, I forgot to show of my new favorite item in the game!Posted Image

There's tons... and tons... I've only mapped and labed about 2000 of the 4372 objects used in the game... there is a LOT to go over.EDIT: Just because I'm not from Europe doesn't mean the w00m rocket isn't significant.Posted Image

God, I HATE double posting in threads, but that usually seems to be the only way I can get people to check out my updates.Flicky and BUNNY textures (The Bunny I've known about for a while, but haven't documented yet):Posted ImageI don't know why, but I just looked at the 3D Ripping thread.... and realized it was 100% (well I can debate that) compatible with the Model2b emulator! That excites me to no end! Models of Honey shall follow soon.EDIT: Downloading 3DS Max 8, tutorial plz?

It's compatible with Model2b? Cause what I've tryed a month back it didn't rip any geometry (it did rip the textures btw). Must be a different version, or somethin'Can you post that 3dr file with the textures, So I we can take a quick peek in 3DSMax ;)Your work on Sonic the Fighters kicks sweet melons btw :D Nice work

Look at my custom member title. Even my avitar is from Fighting Vipers... =P. I've been messing with Model2B for over a year now, and a new version of an emulator has sprung up, recently, actually. I'm not too thrilled at it, but should give some more people a chance to use a faster emulator for Fighters, but it's a bit buggier, so I will stick with my version. I'd like to test it in 3DS Max first, but the files I'm getting out of it are like, 6 kilobytes, that's gotta be wrong, right?

Yeah I noticed you avi ^^ - you sure are teh mastah, I don't know if there's anybody else who's done Model2B related research this deep, you made some sweet discoveries there.6 kilobytes you say?, I won't jump to conclusions if that's good or bad - Right now I'll just assume that the size is due to the low polygon count on the fighters models *cross fingers*.

Nope, it doesn't work in lastest Model2B emu. Only dumps a quad, wich is probably because it does some kind of render to texture before dumping to screen :/

I normally don't edit old posts, but this was retarded now that I look back on it.Summary: I released the first Sonic the Fighters memory editor, completely outdated, and informed people to use the latest emulator with it, not the old nebulam2b emulator. Also, it was version 01 of the model 2b emulator, as of edit, we are at version 0.8a.

Then why did this other site translate it a bit differently? Can someone explain?

Also, noticed a small little something:Honey's eyes are normally screwed up, right?Posted ImageOkay, just confriming...Posted Image..because something happens...Posted Image...when the final sequence starts to load...Posted Image...(god I love those eyes) because once this scene gets going...Posted Image... it seems to activate an eye fix specifically for Honey (could be to fix a glitch that is possible for all characters though)...Posted Image...and they seem to stay fixed...Posted Image...even into the REPLAY SCENES IN THE CREDITS...Posted Image...however, the effect is not permanent. Honey's eyes will revert to default by the time the name entry rolls around. Restarting the game or going to the service menu will give you the same effect. I will try to find a more permanent solution.
