oh yeah, that slow down thing only appears to occur on the first level. when i got the speed boots with shadow on the second level, the speed was normal (ie faster)

Jesus christ, this is probably the greatest mod I've ever had the good fortune to play.

Its awesome!Although, in GHZ you can jump through the wall before the pipe and get stuck. Also, in soundtest, it messes up around the 50's and 60's .(particularly 55)And there needs to be more control over shadows double jump.Other than that, its one of the best hacks i've seen.

The double jump is fixed, so no worries. :PAs for the sound test, it's actually always been like that, even in the original - normally those slots are just disabled, so you don't hear them. The pipe thing is just a level design flaw on my part. I'll get to fixing it eventually. =P

Okay - Official new release ready!Changes since the public beta:- Double Jump fixed for Shadow; Jump Dash added for Sonic- Issue of life icons not loading while starting a game from the options screen fixed -- you'll like the new system better. =P- Zone layouts for Sunset Hill (GHZ) and Starry Night (SLZ) are complete. New layouts thanks to Robjoe1107.- Music playlist modified (and that damn Splash Down port fixed =P)- Various bugs fixed (Like the starting position in LZ3)Any other issues, let me know. The Game Over screen should work now too -- dunno what caused that one...Download links:ROM: http://www.fileden.c...20%28ROM%29.rarIPS: http://www.fileden.c...20%28IPS%29.rarEnjoy! Comments are appreciated. This is the last release I'm making in a while, so enjoy it. =P

Played through the whole thing - bloody marvellous stuff. Great use of altered music, bright-but-not-eye-burning palettes (especially the imaginative use of blue water in... j/k =P), like the new dash move as well. Some of the new level layout changes are very well thought-out too, but there's one bit in Starry Night Act-something which I thought a bit too evil for my liking (the bit where you hit a spring, fly up to a platform which has a fan at the start of it, which then drags you into one of those suicide drones... ick =P).Keep up the good work!

Please, please, please, please, please, don't abandon this project like so many before. Granted they've all had their good reasons for quitting, but this shows such great promise, I don't want to see it die.

Shadow could have chaos control, prehaps you could make it so that you could hold down a button and it would make Shadow twice as fast while it was held but also drains rings, and you need 50 rings to start it, and erm, yeah, should have thought that through more before i started, but it's a thought. Just think of things Shadow does in the 3D games and think of one you could implement into your hack. Prehaps a special move where he kneels down for 5 mins and starts thinking of Maria and slitting his wrists? XD

This is awesomeness - just the new music in S1 makes this game ownage. I think I prefer your version of the last Boss simply because S3's music is more ominous.... =POnly bugs I spotted were during the end credits - Sonic moves so fast the scene cuts out before the music's finished, and because the level layouts are altered, naturally the little cutscene things don't work (Sonic dies in a few of them XD)

Yeah, since I removed the gayass limit on speed that S1 had, a lot of things move faster, so to speak. If I get around to recording new demos then everything should be fine.

That and Mighty's end credits music ends before the credits themselves do... or this might be a glitch in Kega Fusion's "speed up processor" function, but it didn't do the same for Shadow =P

Posted Image:ooooooooo!Big thanks to Cinossu for running this through to me. Maybe now you'll see even more edited animations in the future, in addition to this. ;)(and in case you were wondering, that IS the real move, not just a mappings edit or whatever)

This would be the Peel-Out, right? Just like SpinDashing except you can still get hurt while running?

Tweaker, you know how you get reviews on the boxs of DVDs from like newspapers saying stuff like "Brilliant - Sunday Times", "Best Film of This Year - The Sun" .....you should so have "It's OMG amazing!" for yours. XDAlso ROM pls, also cocks. Also StevenM, Peel Out isn't entirely useless. With spindash you eventually slow down, with peel out you can keep your speed up.

Tweaker, this hack is bloody awesome. Dash-Jump wins it, as well as the stuff I've probably already mentioned in this topic before. I love this hack and can't wait for further releases. (Even if I failed to notice you released one half a month ago... =()Love the GHZ boss take, it's a nice new challenge with the moving platform. =P Few glitches while jump-dashing (abusivly), you can get stuck in walls, which the game will throw you out of again... But that's nothing big. =PEDIT: Also, what the hell is "Radix" I've heard music from it all over the shop, since music of it is in this hack, and LocalH's logo test rom, I take it something on the MD. Can someone tell me? =(

I want update with Peel out. :(And shouldn't Shadow have the light speed dash as well? I mean, I like the whole double jump thing, but playing as him feels soooo much slower than with Sonic.I really don't mind Mighty not having a bunch of special abilities, because it's more like playing the new levels with the original physics... kinda. I think you might understand what I mean. >_<;Excellent work Tweaker. Let me know if there's anything I could possibly do for you.
