Let's try something real quick. Head over to your Genesis/Megadrive and pick up Sonic & Knuckles. Plug that in. Then get your Sonic 1 cartridge and stick that on top of it. Now, if this was your first time doing this you'd expect what? Knuckles in Sonic 1, right? Well, no, you're greeted with that lovely "No Way!" screen. Many people now know that the reason Knuckles was never in Sonic 1 was due to palette issues (Knuckles' red color fucked up some other sprites). So here we are, about 10 years later, and we have this hack thrown at us. Possibly the single greatest hack ever to be created has been accomplished by the truly awesome Stealth. He has ported a FULLY functional Knuckles in Sonic 1! By fully functional I mean fully functional. He can glide, climb, hell, he can even spindash!
