And the problem is...?360, in itself, is nothing more than a few tweaks on the original XBox hardware. The GCN was right behind the original X as far as power was concerned, and the REV is looking to be a few steps above that too. So, I'm pretty sure that Nintendo's system will be able to chug out good graphics just fine. Like some one else said, if the PS2 could hang with the the X and GC for the last few years, I'm sure the REV will be aight too. Besides, by the end of this upcoming generation, I think the whole "uber GFX" appeal factor will start to lose its appeal. Where else is gaming going to go after we reach that milestone where graphics can look as realistic as can be...?That's why I'm personally rooting for Nintendo and the REV. Graphical appeal has lost its affect on me a while ago...

Ah, I see. Now another thing, were Sonic 1-3&K and Shining Force made by Sonic Team?
Sonic Team had fuck all to do with the Shining Force franchise. All the Shining games up to Shining Force III were developed by Sonic Software Planning, now known as Camelot Software Planning. Yes, they were the team behind Golden Sun I & II and Mario Golf on the GBA.

I loved Shining Force I and II, but the GBA port of SFI that surfaced in 2003 was a great game, just they rearranged some shit that I didn't want to see rearranged. I liked the storyline change. Any chance that they might port SFII to GBA?

Mario Strikers is pretty awesome, Mariowise. The powerups are integral to beating the higher level computers. Tennis and Golf would be just as good without the Mario franchise, but...who cares? It's good either way, so might as well accept the Mario label.

Prolly cause Sonic Teams games are fathered by Yuji Naka who is all wise and cool and creator of them even tho he didn't actually create Sonic, nor Puyo Puyo for the matter. Plus every game made by Sonic Team is rivaling the Pokemons in kiddieness.
In your opinion, who created sonic? Yeah, the Sonic drawings were made by Naoto Oshima, and level designs by Hirokazu Yasuhara. But he was the main programmer and made the original team. Not to mention that part of his money made all that possible.
Oshima was the character designer so he "created" sonic. If he wouldn't be there you would have the same music, levels, game engine and behavior, but with an american fox or some bulldog running around.[/quote]Hell no!

I'm not sure if this has been said... but....When they were thinking of an image for Sega... didn't whoever first had the idea in their mind of a blue hedgehog "create" Sonic right then and there? They may not have thought it to be "sonic" but the idea was the seed that started it? I don't know all the stats and times and people but thats what I always thought it to be....

So no one will ever get confused about who is responsible for what again.

Hirokazu YasuharaAnother pivotal name in the early years of Sonic, Yasuhara was the original game and level designer. He was probably the most actively involved in the early development of the series, but left Sonic Team after the completion of Sonic & Knuckles due to disagreements with Naka. He remained at Sega of America and continued working on Western-developed Sonic games, including Sonic R and even the shelved Sonic X-Treme. In 2002, Yasuhara left Sega where, according to Naka, he had become "useless," and joined friends from the former Sega Technical Institute at Naughty Dog. Yasuhara has since been involved with the Jak and Daxter series.
That explains a whole HELL of a lot.
