Everybody's date for the next time Xbox 360s will be abundantly available is February. When the units finally do arrive, will there be another shortage? Anyone know what kind of numbers we're looking at as far as units go? I'd really hate to wait a few more months till I finally can get one.

... Around here, stores get shipments constantly and they stay in stock for well over a day... Nobody wants them.

If I had an Xbox, I wouldn't be so excited about the PS3.What is likely to happen? My guess is that lots of parents ruled by their 9 year old kids will buy the 360, then they will throw it out 'cos their minds are too fucked up to open the box, and instead commit suicide in a good attempt to stop the pain.*shot*

Here, they're selling like hotcakes. Most stores won't see any till February.

I'd say where you live just doesn't do gaming much... They still had DS' in stock when they first launched where everyone else was sold out... Kat should buy some of those XBox360's then flog them on ebay for 2X the price. It'll work, you know... XD

Well, just start with one, and have the starting bid at what you paid for it. If it doesn't sell, try again. If it does sell, you'll churn a profit. If it still doesn't sell, keep it and play it. If you really don't want it, return it to the store. As long as you don't open it and keep your receipt, you'll only lose the money it took in gas to drive to the store and whatever the listing price is on eBay, which isn't much at all.

Heck, put a 360 on reserve at the store if you're worried about them disappearing.

You'd be surprised. I know someone who bought a US 360 from someone else in the UK in this bundle while the 360 was on sale here.Of course, he then found out the 360 was broken (as in it has more overheating issues than a normal one) and is now working on selling it on on eBay (minus the games and the rest of the bundle) as broken. Someone'll still buy it =P

Someone in my flat has one, and a HDTV. I've yet to see the massive WOW! factor.
