OK, I see this got a few flames in my direction, so I suppose I shoudl justify myself here...

OL, I don't want my money back. Instead, I want the console. I'm sure you understand =)

Is Jobseeker pay like wellfare? Because if it is, you can go fuck yourself for being a leech on the system. People who do that are like those fucks who get money to rebuild in New Orleans after Katrina and instead spend the emergancy assistance funds on season tickets to some football team. Fucking pitiful.
If you don't know whether Jobseeker's Allowance is like wellfare, how are we meant to know if it is? Like, what're the criteria for this "wellfare"? I mean, Jobseeker's Allowance is fairly self-explanatory, it's a Government-paid Allowance to those Seeking Jobs. Besides, as for him being a leech on the system? Fuck that, if he can live off that money and save enough of it to buy a 360, then all the best to him.
Thank you, someone sees my point of view here. Would people rather that I have no money at all until I get employment, which it would be if I wasn't getting this payment?Overlord, you've probably said it on IRC but I ask you to explain why you don't have a job exactly, on the forums. I presume you aren't the kind of mentality that works in McDonalds (you were in Uni ffs), so explain.
OK, here it is. The second I got out of University, I started job hunting. I intend to support myself as soon as possible with employment (which I'm trying as hard as I can to achieve, I'm not intending to live by scrounging as many benefits as I can for the rest of my life) - but seeing as my best efforts have turned up nothing so far, 2 months of my efforts should at least net me SOMETHING in return, no?EDIT: Nik posted while I was doing:

Personally, I think you should all be less concerned with what OL is spending his JSA on, and more concerned with the fact that he's actually on JSA at all. It doesn't bode well that a graduate - and don't forget he's spent three years and gotten himself into considerable debt for a qualification that supposedly helps you get work - can't get an IT job in the strongest area for British IT work.If you really want to complain about the allocation of tax money, you could find a great deal of stuff that's far more worrying than how OL spends his JSA.
Yeah, such as a war in Iraq that was done entirely for no reason for one...And yes. Graduate, willing to work fixing PCs (hell, I did a lot for free in halls my 3 years of Uni, often turning DOWN payment), and nothing's coming up within 30 miles of here. It's not liek I'm not trying, here.Somewhat, this topic was meant to come across as a semi-joke - I can see this has backfired somewhat dramatically, and I do apologise to anyone who's been REALLY fucked off by it.
