Right, Im dieng to Hack my Sega Genesis/Megadrive, and know I need an emulator and rom. WTF are they and where can I get them? Please Help

For example, Gens is an emulator that can do Genesis, 32X, and SegaCD emulation.Rom: The raw data that is stored in a game cartridge. an emulator loads this and runs it, (in theory) just like the original system.Neither of these items is of any use or help to do anything to an actual system.And God, your sig sucks.

Well, im tryin to hack sonic c.d, but obviously have no idea how to do it or where to get the equipment.

Free Tip: DON'T!Start with somthing a l'il bit easier, like Sonic 1 or 2... google for ESEII or somthing like that, and try your hand at a simple palette hack. READ what others have done first... (again google for some answers to get you started)Even I know better then to get mixed up with Sonic CD! (but i did manage a sinmple sprite hack at one time...I had Blue knuckles running around palmtree Panic Act 1...No glide, no spindash....nothing...just the sprites were changed for the most basic of things, like standing, running, rolling, jumpin etc.)

I Actually agree with his sig though =P, its what my area is like.Anyway, back on topic, yeah, start off with something like sonic 2. ESEII, or Soned will work wonders for newbies to hacking.
