I am almost positive it was not a 360 game as well, and from what I remember seeing from the movie, it looked pretty lame too.
So now that i've watched the video i have further comments. Yes, it IS indeed not a 360 game. Controller-S being used, green case (with no ESRB info far as i can tell, so probably film mockup/internal mockup anyway). Still looks semi-typical but it does look better than i recall it being.

oh and one last thing. this reminds me of the remake version of "how to make a monster", where they are developing a videogame and the mocap suit comes to life or some shit. anyway, they show a little gameplay footage a few times, i wonder if that was anything? i'll throw some more research into it. Movie called it Evilution. Also the game involves devilish pikachus, by the way:
