Yeah I'm on this hard. This is currently the only thing my internet connection is doing and will stay that way until it finishes. 26% done as of this post.

Will hack into files / test the game when it finishes. If anyone knows more about who/how, let me know so I can thank them personally.

edit 2: CONFIRMED LEGITIMATE. NOW PLAY TESTING. Save works, text is english. Spotted a few text bugs so far but nothing gamebreaking or whatnot yet. I think some art/names of places has been changed around a bit, will have to check into that. I'm tired as hell right now though, I will play/comment more tomorrow, but yeah, grab that torrent guys. I'm seeding.

No, it didn't get a release elsewhere. I don't even think the MegaDrive version was released outside of Japan.

Nor has it been fan translated to any useful degree.

So yeah I think they changed the theme song too, by the way (instrumental instead of vocal).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the guy from the Japanese SEGA Saturn adverts, Segato Sanshiro, have a role in this? Is he playable or is it just a cameo?

i assume you need the hardware to play this right? there's no decent emulation?

I'm using a softmodded xbox with the game ripped to the harddrive and it's working very nicely. I've got one more mission to go and I'll have beat the game, and other than a few text bugs and possibly some weirdness with the email system, there have been no issues with the game either. A few people will talk off the edge of the text box and stuff but that's about it. Once I beat it tomorrow I'll get back into hacking the files themselves. Watch this thread for a nice related release tomorrow probably.
