Here's pictures side by side of the revolution/wii controllers. I'll see If I can dig up any good pictures of the revolution system from E3, for wii comparisons.

If I find anything else, we can have a wii/revolution prototype hardware section, like the PS3.

PS3's a good one, they had the boomerang controller before, then just defaulted to the old design

interesting to note how they made the nunchuck attachment more retard friendly by making it chunkier and more durable. the phone-charger like one looks like it would snap off pretty easily

I definitely prefer that B button on the old wiimote, and the add on port at the bottom; though it does look a bit flimsy compared to what we have now

I thought that might be relevant, it's a prototype of the Wiimote gun holster thing. does it even have a name?

Wasn't it called Zapper too? At least, the official Nintendo Magazine here in Brazil was calling it that way.

To have that zapper work, surely some kind of wireless nun-chuck convention must of been conceived. Otherwise, where's the cable for it?

unless it's just a plastic model with nothing inside it (eg Lego)
Galaxia
I think it would've been for show, IIRC the Wii was already out when that zapper was unveiled... let me double check that though.

edit: no, that particular one wasn't being shown after the Wii went on sale

I'm thinking the Zapper itself might have included the nunchuk-like joystick and trigger.

You can see the joystick in the photo. And the trigger.
