GrandMasterJimmy gave me a bell earlier and told me about the discovery of the 'unknown' E3 2007 demo world from Super Mario Galaxy in the final retail disc, the discovery was basically the actual model data and textures left over in the game, the files were saved as "worldmaphome", so make of what you will of that. Nice to see these remain, hopefully more prototype maps will crop up.

Cool. Tell him congrats on the discovery. And he'll be more then welcome to come back and post this kinda stuff as soon as his ban is up, he stops disrespecting senior staff. I like him a lot, but I'm no one's babysitter.

Oh, so that's why Jimmy wanted the level, I wasn't expecting him to pretend he was the one that found it. There's some other left overs in galaxy including Mario's Sunshine model and a file titled "demomario".

As in, someone (you?) made the discovery, Jimmy found out that they had, and told SSUK about it. Other than Pach congratulating Jimmy on it - which could be a misunderstanding on his part - I don't see any implication that he did anything wrong. Other than, you know, being a dick and getting banned for a month. I mean, I don't see that he did anything wrong with this specifically =P

Sorry for the misconception, I just talked to Jimmy and he said he only forgot to credit me when he messaged SSUK, oh and I can upload the demo Mario model later if anyone wants it, for the most part it's just Mario but with different fists.
